Industrial Powder Coating Services

At Argo, we work directly with our customers on their structural steel fabrication projects to achieve the desired finished product.

Our project gallery highlights the diverse structural steel fabrication capabilities of Argo Industries. From large-scale machinery components, welded assemblies, and powder-coated frames, each project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and client-specific solutions. We partner with clients from design through delivery, ensuring every build exceeds performance expectations and industry standards.

Durable, Corrosion-resistant Finishes

Argo’s in-house industrial powder coating services add long-lasting protection and professional finish to steel fabricated components. Our coating process provides excellent resistance to abrasions, corrosion, impact, and environmental exposure for steel—ideal for both industrial and outdoor applications.

We offer a variety of colors, pattern options and finishes tailored to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements; these include smooth, glossy and matte as well as a variety of textures for non-slip capabilities which are perfect for stairs and ladders.

With a controlled application environment and curing process, we ensure consistent steel coverage and adhesion that enhances product life and performance.
Many industrial Powder coats can be applied over a powder primer to achieve a C5M Marine grade performance.

OUR INDUSTRIAL COATING SYSTEM

Argo uses the most common process called electrostatic spray deposition (ESD) to achieve the application of the powder coating to a metal substrate. This application method uses a spray gun, which applies an electrostatic charge to the powder particles, which are then attracted to the grounded part. After application of the powder coating, the parts enter a curing oven where, with the addition of heat, the coating chemically reacts to produce long molecular chains, resulting in high cross-link density.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGES FOR STEEL

Powder coating of steel offers key advantages over competing painting processes such as wet spray paint including improved corrosion resistance and durability as well as it is also designed to be environmentally friendly, as it contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and complies with various environmental regulations.

DRY POWDER COATING

Industrial powder coating is a finishing process that involves applying a dry powdered plastic resin to steel and metal surfaces and then curing it under heat to form a hard, durable coating. Unlike traditional liquid paints, powder coating offers superior durability, with resistance to chipping, scratching, and fading.
