Our RAS (Recycled Asphalt Shingles) bins (also known as reclaimed asphalt shingles bins) are manufactured in the Midwest and are fully customizable. This provides our customers with an adaptable RAS system supporting a variety of plant requirements. Contractors and plant workers are able to maximize RAS production while adhering to strict weight requirements.

The RAS bins are steep providing a flow of even the finest RAS in hot weather. Bin walls consist of a main vertical end-wall and a sloped end-wall angled at 70 degrees. Finely grade RAP flows easily with this RAS bin construction design.

How RAS Supports Sustainability

Using RAS in HMA (hot-mix asphalt) mixtures reduces asphalt paving mix costs and conserves energy. Argo encourages sustainability and RAS bin construction is a part of that for the following reasons:

RAS lowers the demand for composites and aggregates which are inherently non-renewable
Energy is saved by eliminating the need for extracting non-renewable natural resources such as the aggregates needed for products
